For the year 2026 the Event is the 5th edition of the GOMU 48HR World Championship, the ITALIAN IUTA 48HR CHAMPIONSHIP and the ITALIAN IUTA 12HR Road Championship.

Documents required for registration (for italian people):
✓ Registration form (automatically provided by the TimingRun website);
✓ Photocopy of the FIDAL electronic membership card (valid on the day of the race);
✓ Photocopy of the competitive medical certificate (valid on the day of the race);
When registering, each athlete must declare the distance they intend to participate in (12 hours, 24 hours, 48 hours).
When registering, the athlete is required to confirm whether or not they require personal assistance. Costs are described in the relevant section.
Upon registration, you are also required to complete and sign the following documents required by the GOMU Regulations:

You can register on-site on the day of the event, with a €10.00 supplement on top of the final fee for the race, provided you comply with the current membership regulations.

5:00 PM: Opening Ceremony of the GOMU 48-Hour World Championship with a parade of participating nations and refreshments, at the PalaAllende Sports Hall, Via XXV Aprile 3 in Cinisello Balsamo

9:00 AM: Meet and greet for 48-hour athletes at the Scirea Sports Field at Via Cilea 50 to pick up their race packs.
11:30 AM: Roll call for 48-hour athletes and positioning on the starting grid.
12:00 PM: Start of the 48-hour race

8:00 AM: Meet and greet for 24-hour athletes at Campo Sportivo Scirea, Via Cilea 50, to collect their race pack.
9:30 AM: Roll call for 24-hour athletes and grid placement.
10:00 AM: Start of the 24-hour race.
7:30 PM: Meet and greet for 12-hour athletes at Campo Sportivo Scirea, Via Cilea 50, to collect their race pack and roll call for 12-hour athletes and grid placement.
9:00 PM: Start of the 12-hour race
Schedule for Sunday, March 29, 2026
10:00 a.m.: Conclusion of the 12-hour race. Race awards ceremony to follow after 10:00 a.m.
11:00 a.m.: 24-hour race concludes. Followed by the race awards ceremony after 11:00 a.m.
1:00 p.m.: Conclusion of the 48-hour race.
2:00 p.m.: Race awards ceremony and GOMU 48-hour World Championship awards ceremony.
3:00 p.m.: Closing ceremony of the GOMU 48-hour World Championship.
The changeover to daylight saving time in Italy in 2026 will be on the night between Saturday, March 28th and Sunday, March 29th. As usual, clocks will be moved forward one hour, from 2:00 to 3:00 in the morning, so all races will finish one hour later to maintain the correct race times.
